36 beds
Patient ratio: 1:2-3
No unit secretaries or CNAs; direct patient care
Floats to all ICUs and IMC
Documentation system: Meditech

Schedule

Days: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Nights: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Experience with ventilator management
Experience with high-flow oxygen
Experience with BiPAP
Experience with CPAP
IV medication administration including Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, Fentanyl, Versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics
Experience with therapeutic hypothermia (TTM)
Experience with hemodynamics
Experience with pulmonary artery (PA) catheters
Experience with intubation
Experience with chest tube insertion

Preferred Experience

Experience with vents, hi-flow oxygen, Bipap, Cpap, and IV medications including Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics
Advanced skills in TTM, hemodynamics, and PA catheter
Experience with procedures performed on the unit: Intubation, Chest tube insertion, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Colonoscopy, Wound Debridement, and Line insertion
