Job Description

Float Pool RN position requiring willingness to float between 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units.
Night shift with every other weekend (EOW) schedule, 36 hours per week.
Responsible for cardiac monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours.
Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication nursing, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.
Clinician-to-patient ratio: up to 6:1 on nights.
Charting system: EPIC.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Minimum 2 years of total travel nursing experience
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in an acute care setting
