Job Description
- Float Pool RN position requiring willingness to float between 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units.
- Night shift with every other weekend (EOW) schedule, 36 hours per week.
- Responsible for cardiac monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours.
- Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication nursing, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.
- Clinician-to-patient ratio: up to 6:1 on nights.
- Charting system: EPIC.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years of telemetry experience
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- 2 years of experience working as a Traveler
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- TR Band experience
