Job Opportunity: Medical Infusion Nurse

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12 or 4x10 schedule, with 2 weekends per month)


Job Description

  • Infusion nursing experience is required.
  • Ambulatory EPIC experience is preferred.
  • Schedule designed to maintain consistency with current staff (either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, including two weekends per month).

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of infusion nursing experience.
  • Infusion nursing experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Credentialing and Compliance Requirements

  • Professional license and/or certification primary source verification within 30 days of start date; must be updated upon expiration.
  • Submission of a recent color photo (taken within the last 6 months) with specific guidelines (plain background, no selfies, no filters).
  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date; updated annually. No religious or medical exemptions allowed.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required.
  • Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) required.
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date; updated if there is a break longer than 6 months.
  • Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date; updated if break >6 months.
  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date; updated if break >6 months. Includes county and international residence/employment history for last 7 years.
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date; updated if break >6 months.
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date; updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date; updated annually.
  • Social Security Number trace as part of criminal background check.
  • Education verification of highest level achieved (except CNA positions).
  • Submission of a detailed resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required for initial assignments and extensions.

Additional Notes

  • Positive TB skin test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test.
  • Name change documentation may be required if credentials do not match current legal name.
  • Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment submissions and new facility submissions.
