Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Oncology
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Full-time position with 10-hour day shifts
- Work in an ambulatory oncology infusion center
- Must have experience with oncology infusion, including solid tumor, hematology, and medical infusion regimens
- Peripheral IV experience required
- Site is approximately 8 miles west of Boston; personal car required
- Free onsite parking available for travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of infusion experience, including infusion experience within the last year
- Oncology experience
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Peripheral IV experience
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Notes
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
- Some immunizations and health requirements are strongly preferred but optional (e.g., Hepatitis B, Tdap)
- Background checks and credential verifications must be current and updated if there are breaks in employment longer than 6 months
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
This role is ideal for experienced infusion oncology RNs seeking a long-term assignment in an outpatient ambulatory setting with a focus on oncology infusion therapies.
