Certifications Required

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • Required for: Antepartum, Cath Lab, CVOR, Endoscopy, ER, ICU/CCU, Interventional Radiology, L&D, Stepdown/PCU, Allied, Cath Lab Tech, EKG Tech, Interventional Radiology Tech, OR, PACU.

• BLS - Basic Life Support

  • Required for all Clinical and Allied positions (not required for Clinical Lab Scientist).

• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

  • Required for: ER, Interventional Radiology, PEDS, PACU, Allied, Interventional Radiology Tech.

• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

  • Required for: Antepartum, L&D, Mother-Baby, NICU.

• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course

  • Required for ER.

• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring

  • Preferred for L&D.

• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement

  • Required annually.

• NIH Stroke Certification

  • Required for all clinical positions.

Health Documents Required

• Physical Exam

  • Required within 1 year of start.

• N95 Fit Test

  • Required within 1 year of start.

• TDAP Vaccine

  • Required within 10 years of start.

• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray

  • Required within 12 months of start.

• Drug Testing

  • Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start.

• Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation

  • Required from October 1 - March 31.

Background and History Checks

• Lifetime Criminal Background Check

  • Required within 30 days of start.

• EPLS/GSA/SAM Check

  • Required within 30 days of start.

• HHS/OIG Check

  • Required within 30 days of start.

• References

  • 2 references required within 3 years of start.

• Employment Application
