Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Greensboro, North Carolina
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend; holidays as needed
Floating required as needed
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers accepted

Unit / Patient Focus

Cardiac Tele
Focus on cardiac patients, including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrythmias
Secondary focus on respiratory problems such as COPD and pneumonia

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Experience with cardiac drips
Experience with cardiac patient care including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
Experience with respiratory problems including COPD and pneumonia
Telemetry experience
Experience with Epic

Patient diagnoses listed include Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia
