Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Salem, Oregon
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Job Description

  • Position focuses on outpatient CT imaging with an emphasis on diagnostic quality procedures performed safely and in accordance with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) guidelines for Computerized Tomography.
  • Workdays: Wednesday, Friday
  • Machines used: GE and Toshiba/Canon (GE experience preferred for open shifts)
  • Must have outpatient experience and IV skills
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is a plus

Education & Licensure Requirements

  • Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies
  • Must be licensed or have pending licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography
  • Must be registered with the ARRT in radiography
  • Must be licensed in CT by OBMI OR registered in CT by ARRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (not required for CT techs)

Additional Requirements

  • Clear copy of driver's license or passport/state ID
  • Education verification and employment references required
  • Photo for badge with white background required at least 8 days prior to start
  • Completion of facility-specific HealthStream training modules by due date
  • Fit mask testing to be completed onsite within first week of start (not required for outpatient roles)
