Schedule

• Night shift, 3x12 hours: 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• No call
• No block schedule requests

Role Overview

• Hospital float pool position
• Expected to float throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU
• Ratios up to 1:6 in Med-Surg

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year
• 2 years of Critical Care Float experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Licensure / Certifications

• Georgia state license
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Tech certification verification, if applicable

Other Start Requirements

• Photo ID
• Background check completed before start
• Education verification of related degree
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination
• 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist within 12 months
