Case Manager

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Dalton, Georgia
• Day shift: 8:30–16:30, 5x8 hours
• 40 hours per week
• Adults and Geriatrics patient population
• Every other weekend as needed
• Typically geographically assigned
• Ratio: 1:25–30
• Hours may exceed 8 per day depending on patient load

• RN with discharge planning experience needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Case Management (2 years of experience)
• Case Management experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with discharge planning
• Experience with utilization review (InterQual)
• Experience with Epic

Certifications

• ACLS, as applicable
• PALS, as applicable
• NRP, as applicable
• TNCC, as applicable

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• 7-year criminal background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Fit test onsite during orientation
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Rubeola immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity documentation
• Rubella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation
• Varicella immunity documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or exemption required during flu season
• 2 professional references
• Complete application/resume
• Skills checklist, if applicable to the unit
