Overview

• Travel/contract role in Avon, Indiana
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 12-week assignment
• 1:2 patient ratio
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted
• Weekend requirement varies/flexible
• On-call not required
• Floating required within scope to AAU and MS
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• NIH Stroke Certification

Clinical Focus

• Heavy medical ICU with some surgical patients
• Common care areas include GI and carotid cases
• Experience needed with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multi-system organ failure, pre/post cardiac cath intervention, IV insulin protocols, renal failure, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line and PICC care, continuous IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator care, HFNC, ABG interpretation, suctioning, infection prevention, and isolation/PPE use
