Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
26-week contract
Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
May be asked to work charge RN shifts
Floating is required as needed across all facilities in the health system
Patient ratio: 1:6

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Clinical Expectations

Use of rapid response teams
Blood product administration
Peripheral line care management
Starting IVs
Heparin, insulin, and PCA administration
Nasal cannula use
Isolation precautions

Other Notes

Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and punctuality
Offer cannot be made without completion of the mandatory questionnaire
Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST on the Wednesday before start date
