Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 26-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- May be asked to work charge RN shifts
- Floating is required as needed across all facilities in the health system
- Patient ratio: 1:6
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Expectations
- Use of rapid response teams
- Blood product administration
- Peripheral line care management
- Starting IVs
- Heparin, insulin, and PCA administration
- Nasal cannula use
- Isolation precautions
Other Notes
- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and punctuality
- Offer cannot be made without completion of the mandatory questionnaire
- Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST on the Wednesday before start date
