- Indianapolis, Indiana
Contract
- Travel/contract assignment
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 4x12s, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
- Call: 12–24 hours per 6-week period
- 1 holiday shift required during the contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Neurology experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Thoracic Surgery experience
- Urology experience
- OB/GYN experience
- Plastic Surgery experience
- Pediatrics experience
- Experience with Cerner
Work Environment
- Level 1 trauma center
- PACU operates 24/7
- Fast-paced, high-acuity setting
- Average daily census: 65–85
- ICU/PCU preferred
Additional Notes
- Candidates with permanent residence in Indiana are offered a lower rate than the standard bill rate
- Travelers are expected to work or take call on any holiday that occurs during the contract
- The facility is not allowing Indiana RNs to work at its facilities after 11/30/24, with stated exceptions for periop, OR, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers
