NICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 7:00pm–7:30am
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Schedule includes Monday through Friday and 2–3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with post-op patients
- Experience with g-tubes
- Experience with trach/vent management
- Experience with various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
Compliance and Onboarding
- Wisconsin caregiver screening and BID form required
- Background check required
- Employment application required
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years
- Skills checklist required annually
- Physical exam required by agency standard
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
- TB questionnaire required annually
- Proof of Tdap vaccination from adulthood required
- MMR immunity or vaccination documentation required
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
- Hepatitis B documentation or declination required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Drug screen required
- Photo for badge required
- Communicable disease form required
- Fit mask completed onsite
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
- Pass/fail testing required for telemetry-related onboarding
