7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend
Holidays as needed
Float required if needed

Role Overview

Primarily medical-surgical patient population on a telemetry-capable unit
Travelers may float across all facilities in the health system

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Charge RN experience

Clinical Focus

Observation patients
Respiratory conditions/problems
General medical-surgical diagnoses
Palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
Psychiatric observation
Diabetes care, including new diabetics and patients with complications
Surgical and surgical observation patients

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and punctuality
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Compliance must be completed by noon EST on the Wednesday before start date
