Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location

Winston Salem, North Carolina

Contract

Travel/contract assignment
13 weeks
Day shift, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
36 or 48 hours per week supported

Unit Overview

Telemetry unit
Typical patients include chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, and defibrillator cases
Float to other telemetry units
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of telemetry experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Cardiac GTT experience
Must be comfortable managing cardiac drips, including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix, and heparin
Must pass EKG testing before start

First-time travelers are accepted

Schedule Requirements

4 weekend days in a 6-week time track

Additional Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed
Scrubs: Navy, not provided
36 hours of orientation
