Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU

Location

Anniston, Alabama

Contract Length

8 weeks

Shift Details

Night shift
4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Total 48 hours per week

Unit and Patient Care

Float to MedSurg units
Work settings include MedSurg/Telemetry, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown units
Patient ratio approximately 1:5
Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
Responsibilities include starting IVs, managing Heparin protocols, and cardiac drips (no titration)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Telemetry experience
