Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Wausau, Wisconsin

Contract

Travel assignment
13 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
1 year of experience in Cardiac Stepdown
One completed travel assignment
Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips
Intermediate Care experience
CVICU experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Telemetry experience
Experience with Epic

1 year recent EPIC charting experience required

Unit Details

44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit
Typical patient ratio: 1:4
Fast-paced unit with high patient turnover
May float to all inpatient units as needed

Additional Notes

Low-census adjustments may occur in 4-hour increments
Scrub color: any color
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
