Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• 1 year of Operating Room experience
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous nursing experience
• BSN

Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Provide and document nursing care, treatments, and procedures
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
• Educate patients and families based on their needs and level of understanding
• Collaborate with the care team and delegate appropriately
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
• Participate in quality improvement activities and support unit standards of care
