Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Unit Overview

Fast-paced, 39-bed unit with all-private rooms
Provides specialized care for patients undergoing general surgery, ENT procedures, and medical overflow
Offers a solid clinical foundation in medical-surgical nursing
Team-oriented and supportive environment suitable for both experienced nurses and new graduates

Work Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12s)
Every third weekend and holiday commitments required
Floating between units required
Medical/Surgical experience required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide age- and culturally-specific patient care and education
Effective communication skills with peers and ability to maintain confidentiality
Commitment to continuing professional growth and maintaining competence
Ability to accept and implement change and work in a culturally diverse setting

Specialty Experience
