Job Overview
- Travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Float requirement: None
- On-call/call-back: None
Required Qualifications
- EEG Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of EEG Technologist experience
- R EEG T certification
- Associate degree or certificate
Role Summary
- Performs neurodiagnostic procedures to record and study electrical activity of the brain or nerves for diagnosing neurological disorders
- Works independently in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Uses appropriate judgment and communicates findings clearly to physicians and hospital staff
Preferred Experience
- Experience with pediatric LTM and sEEG is preferred
Work Environment
- Primarily in an EMU setting
- Epic is used as the EMR system
Additional Details
- Professional scrubs may be worn
- Limited nose stud and certain clear or flesh-colored piercing plugs are permitted; other visible facial/body piercings are not allowed except ear piercings
