5A Surgical ACE, 38-bed unit
Schedule
- Day shift
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Geriatrics experience
- Ortho Trauma experience
Preferred Experience
- Geriatrics
- Trauma
- Ortho trauma
- Familiarity with hospital-acquired delirium prevention
- Early mobility
- HAPI prevention
- Falls prevention
- Comfortable with family communication/involvement
Clinical Details
- Adult patients over the age of 65
- Common diagnoses: Trauma, fall, fractures, MVC
- Trauma patients
- Heparin drips and all acute medications as ordered
- Specialty equipment: gait belts, geriatric chairs, PT equipment

- 13 weeks
