Travel RN - Operating Room Nurse

Job Description

• Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, working with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other personnel.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Must adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies.
• On-call required: 1 overnight (12 hours) per week and 1 weekend (24 hours) per month.
• Shift: Days, 4/10-hour shifts (0630 - 1700).

Requirements

• Specialty: Operating Room RN
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Total Joint and Robotics cases.
• Arizona RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Cerner experience preferred.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
