Travel RN - Operating Room Nurse
Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, working with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other personnel.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
- Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
- Must adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies.
- On-call required: 1 overnight (12 hours) per week and 1 weekend (24 hours) per month.
- Shift: Days, 4/10-hour shifts (0630 - 1700).
Requirements
- Specialty: Operating Room RN
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Total Joint and Robotics cases.
- Arizona RN license required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Cerner experience preferred.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
