Unit Information

• Unit: Nursery
• Number of Beds: 40
• Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 1 CNC, 4-5 nurses
  • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 4-5 nurses
• EMR Systems: Meditech and CPN
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs

Required Skills and Certifications

• Must Have:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Stability in clinical skills
• Preferred Experience:

  • Mother-baby experience highly desired
• Personality Fit: Warm and bubbly demeanor required

Typical Patient Population and Procedures

• Newborn babies
• Level 2 care including phototherapy and blood sugar monitoring

Schedule

• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (RN in nursery/mother-baby care)
