RN Rehab

Overview

• Travel assignment in Inpatient Rehab
• 24-bed unit on the 3rd floor of the Main Tower
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Every other weekend; no on-call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
• Rehabilitation experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• Medical/Telemetry experience or higher acuity

Unit Details

• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs, OT/PT/ST, and a case manager
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge, 4 RNs, and 2 PCTs
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds
• EMR: Expanse

Clinical Responsibilities

• PT/OT/ST for a total of 3 hours a day
• Patients may receive dialysis, blood administration, IVP medications, and remote telemetry monitoring
• No bedside surgical procedures

Float Scope

• Med/Surg
• Med/Surg tele

Work Environment

• Collaborate well with therapy departments
• Support patient independence while maintaining a safe environment
• Follow fall precautions, HAI precautions, isolation, and care experience guidelines

Dress Code

• Royal Blue scrubs
