Job Overview

Call: Weekend and evenings
Weekend: On call
Float: Possibly to PreOp if Endo volume is low

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in New Mexico
Endoscopy experience within the last year
Endoscopy (3 years of experience)
Intraprocedural technical experience
BLS
ACLS

Key Responsibilities

Perform intraprocedure technical work in endoscopy
Demonstrate competency in biopsy, dilatation, variceal banding, therapeutic injection, polyp raising, tattooing, foreign body retrieval, clip application, snare procedures, ERCP-related procedures, endoscopic hemostat use, argon plasma coagulation, and Minnesota tube use
Assist team members proactively and troubleshoot equipment and supplies

Patient Population

Adults with mid to high acuity

Additional Notes

Must be able to clear and start within 10 days to be eligible for the rapid rate
Procedural tech experience is required
Common procedures include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy
