Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with 16 beds
High acuity unit providing complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients
Collaborative multidisciplinary care team focused on optimal patient outcomes
Commitment to patient comfort, safety, and security

Work Schedule & Requirements

36 or 48 hours per week available (36 hours guaranteed)
Every other weekend required
Holidays as required by the facility
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
