Overview

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • On-call: None
  • Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • CPI
  • PALS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

  • Emergency department with 23 beds
  • Typical patient ratio: 4:1
  • Common procedures include cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation
  • Navy blue scrubs

Work Environment

  • Team-oriented, flexible, positive, and upbeat culture
  • Self-scheduling is available
  • Collaborative provider and nursing team

Additional Notes

  • No permanent positions on the unit
  • Preferred experience: 2 years in the emergency department
