Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Job Overview

• Employment type: Travel
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New Hampshire
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• BLS
• Cath Lab Technologist experience

Unit Details

• Special Procedures unit with 2 IR suites
• Day shift role; night shift is on call
• On-call coverage every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight
• Average patient load is 10 patients per room

Preferred Experience

• IR Neuro experience is a plus

Procedures Performed

• PICC lines
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Kyphoplasty
• Port placement
• Ablations
• ESI
• EKOS for PE
• Trevo for stroke

Work Environment

• Team-oriented, hardworking candidate preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
