- 13-week contract
Unit Details
- Labor & Delivery unit
- 12 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Travelers float first
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- 3 weekend shifts
- 1 call shift for RNs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Labor & Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- AWHONN or CEFM
Clinical Skills / Experience
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Care of the laboring patient
- Care of the newborn immediately after delivery
- Circulate and recover C-sections
Procedures
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- D&C
- Cerclage
- Epidural anesthesia
- Tub labor
Work Environment
- Shared decision making
- Scrubs are not provided; required colors are Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray
