CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Perform both CT and X-ray exams independently, including all CT exams and diagnostic x-rays.
• Work primarily in Emergency Radiology with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday.
• Must be experienced in all aspects of diagnostic radiology, including OR, fluoroscopy, interventional cases, trauma, and portable cases.
• Use equipment such as GE and KONICA.
• Documentation systems include MEDITECH and CENTRICITY PACS.
• Scheduling includes shifts and on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Dress code: Black scrubs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification in CT and Radiography (R)
• BLS Certification
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Experience with MEDITECH documentation system
• Knowledge of Hazardous Drug Risk as per USP 800

Work Environment

• Hospital setting with advanced diagnostic and emergency services.
• Unit located on the first floor of the main building in Radiology.
• Exposure to a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures and exams.
