Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT (CT)(R) certification and 2+ years of experience performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams.

Details

• Work in the Radiology department of an acute care hospital
• Perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams independently
• Uses GE and Konica imaging equipment
• Documentation through Meditech and Centricity PACS
• Weekend shifts scheduled Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call coverage required, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, including fluoro, interventional, trauma, and portable cases
• ARRT certification required for both CT and Radiography (CT)(R)
• CPR certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Meditech and PACS systems
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• Must have US Social Security Number and date of birth on file (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Perform the full range of diagnostic radiology procedures and exams
• Black scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Facility is a top-performing hospital offering open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
