Hours per Week: 36 hours (including weekends)

Unit Information

• Unit: Adolescent Psychiatric Unit
• Number of Beds: 6
• Patient Ratio: 3 patients to 5 staff
• Patient Types: Thought disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, manic
• Environment: Business casual dress code (no ripped jeans, shorts, t-shirts or sweatshirts with logos, or open-toed shoes)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult psychiatric patients
• Respiratory Fit Protection Form
• Demonstrated de-escalation skills

• Additional RN coverage needed on night shifts due to hiring challenges
