Job Description

• Call as needed
• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons
• Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Manage conflict professionally to contribute to a healthy workplace environment
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Participate in continuing education
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Licenses and Certifications Required

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS Card
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Relevant Clinical Areas (Experience or Training May Be Beneficial)

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Stepdown
• Cardiac Services and Cardiac Catheterization
• Interventional Imaging
• Emergency Room (ER)
• Recovery Room
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Mother Baby
• Pediatrics
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
• Infusion and Radiation Therapy Services
