Job Description
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Combination of two 16-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift on weekends
- Weekend shifts required (Sat/Sun 07:00–23:00)
- Additional day shift 14:30–23:00
- Guaranteed hours
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-time travelers accepted
- Block scheduling not accommodated

Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Siemens MRI equipment experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Competency Requirements
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (minimum 85% score)
- Color blind testing (minimum 80% score) required for all candidates starting on/after 8/2/2024
Training & Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of various mandatory training modules and attestations, including but not limited to:
- Language Services Training
- CAUTI Education Training (except certain units)
- Suicide Risk and Environmental Assessment Training
- Mobile Heartbeat Alarm Module (except ER/ED, Pediatrics, ICU, NICU)
- Stroke Education (except pediatric specialties and NICU)
- CLABSI Prevention Training
- Preventing Pressure Injury Training
- Patient Transportation with Oxygen Education
- Pyxis ES MedStation Training
- Baxter Pump Interoperability Training
- Patient Bedside Rounding (except OR, Behavioral Health, Ambulatory, ER/ED)
- Ventricular Assist Device Awareness (except certain hospitals)
- Blood Administration Module (except Case Managers, Behavioral Health, Home Health)
- New Employee Orientation Module
- 21st Century Cures Act Module (required for MRI Techs)
- Fire Safety Module (effective 5/4/2026)
- Chaperone Policy Training (effective 5/31/2024)
References & Work History
- One supervisor reference within the past year required for Cardio Thoracic ICU/CTICU assignments (charge nurse references not accepted)
- For other units, standard reference requirements apply
- Employment application must include 7 years of work history with no gaps greater than 90 days
- Verification of last 7 years of employment required for all start dates on/after 8/2/2024
- Skills checklist required within 12 months of start
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure required for MRI Techs and other specified roles

- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
