Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level I Trauma academic medical center, with Siemens MRI experience required.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a large Level I Trauma academic medical center with 1,500+ beds
- MRI department with a focus on advanced imaging in a high-acuity environment
- Schedule consists of 2x16-hour shifts and 1x8-hour shift per week: Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 PM, plus one additional shift 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Weekend availability is required
- Charting via Epic
- Parking available for approximately $125/month
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- Siemens MRI equipment experience is required
- Experience in a large trauma center or high-acuity acute care setting required
- Current ARRT (MR) certification and BLS required
- Connecticut state MRI license required if applicable
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval — block scheduling is not available
- Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination exemptions are considered for religious or medical reasons only
- Teal scrubs are required
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
