Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: Quincy, Illinois
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Weekly hours: 48
- Scheduling notes: Every other weekend; float as needed; block scheduling may be partially accommodated
- Patient ratio: Typically 1:5 to 1:6, with occasional 1:7
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- 1 year of Med Surg experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS

- Medical surgical nursing role

- Proof of immunity or acceptable documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- N95 fit test within 12 months of start
- Color blindness testing
- Required onboarding, compliance, and facility-specific forms and modules before start

- NIH Stroke Certification is required for all travelers and must be updated annually
- Float assignment may be required
