NICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- No call
- Every other weekend
- Float to pediatrics, PICU, and nursery
Unit Details
- Level III NICU
- Cares for surgical neonates, 23 weeks and up
- Experience with cooling, all respiratory modes, PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insertion
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
- Onsite EKG exam required after start for ICU and MS/Tele RNs working at CPMC locations
