NICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
No call
Every other weekend
Float to pediatrics, PICU, and nursery

Unit Details

Level III NICU
Cares for surgical neonates, 23 weeks and up
Experience with cooling, all respiratory modes, PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insertion

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
Onsite EKG exam required after start for ICU and MS/Tele RNs working at CPMC locations
