    Description

    NICU Registered Nurse

    Overview

    • Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
    • 13-week assignment
    • Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
    • No call
    • Every other weekend
    • Float to pediatrics, PICU, and nursery

    Unit Details

    • Level III NICU
    • Cares for surgical neonates, 23 weeks and up
    • Experience with cooling, all respiratory modes, PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insertion

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
    • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
    • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

    Additional Notes

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
    • Onsite EKG exam required after start for ICU and MS/Tele RNs working at CPMC locations
