Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado
Unit has 32 beds
Typical ratios: 1:3 couplets, or up to 6 patients
Charting system: Epic
Scrub color: Blue Navy
Shift options: rotating days, with an option for nights only
Call required per unit needs
Weekend requirement per unit needs
Float required: Antepartum-trained clinicians float to L&D with fetal monitoring experience
Unit cares for postpartum patients who do not need ICU-level care, high-risk patients, antepartum patients with fetal monitoring experience, and newborn patients who do not need NICU-level care
Assignment includes care for 2000 gm and above, late preterm, substance-exposed newborns, phototherapy, magnesium drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, PCA & PCEA pumps, and breastfeeding support

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Post Partum experience within the last year
1 year of Post Partum experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Antepartum experience
Labor and Delivery experience
