Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Hays, Kansas
• Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit ratios: 1:4–5
• First-timers accepted
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating within scope is required
• No on-call
• No block scheduling greater than 3 or 4 shifts
• Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius
• Pending license not accepted
• Any RTO must be approved and documented before the assignment starts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Meditech
• NURSYS verification for RNs
• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security Card or SSN
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background check
• Education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Pass/fail testing
• Medication/pharmacology competency testing
• Competency exam
• Skills checklist
• Complete application/resume
• 2 professional references
• Negative 13-panel drug test within 30 days of start
• Current Tdap within the last 10 years
• TB clearance documentation
• Vaccination declination or documentation for required immunizations
• Respirator clearance
• Orientation safety acknowledgement
• Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing
