Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Marrero, Louisiana
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 13-week contract
- Unit does not offer straight 3x12 schedules; schedule options are alternating 3x12s with 4x12s every other week, or straight 4x12s
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias & Telemetry
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- NIH
Unit Details
- General MS
- Diabetes renal insufficiency
- Some overnight ortho
- Vascular insufficiency
- Wound patients
- Backup for Stroke Unit
- 1:6 ratio, or 1:4 if cardiac drip
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Weekend requirement: yes
- Call requirement: no
- Float: yes
- Holidays: at least 2 of 3 holidays
- Holiday blackout dates: 10/31, 11/26, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1
- RTO under 5 days or add time to end of contract
