Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Orientation: Every Monday
• Charting system: Meditech (preferred experience, but not required)
• Scheduling: Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Float: Yes, may float to other medical-surgical units if needed
• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote telemetry monitoring
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Information

• Must be able to complete facility-specific forms and agreements prior to start
• Photo for badge required (passport-style with solid background)
• May be required to complete additional competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
• Prior travel experience is not required for this position

This position offers an opportunity to work in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring responsibilities, suitable for both local nurses and those new to travel nursing.
