Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: Days, every other week (EOW), with on-call duties
- Must have a minimum of 3 years recent Operating Room (OR) experience
- Level I Trauma OR experience required
- Ability to work independently in the OR setting
- Must be able to scrub and circulate during surgeries
- Experience required in Orthopedic and Neurosurgery cases
- Must have experience with Epic electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Minimum of 3 years Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience in Orthopedics and Neurology
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
