Certified Surgical Technician

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 4 shifts of 10 hours each
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Certified Surgical Technician position in the Operating Room.
NBSTSA certification is required.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA or NCCT).
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Additional Information

No fit testing (initial or updates) can be done onsite; must be completed prior to start.
Positive TB skin test requires a negative chest X-ray after the positive test.
Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
