RN - OR - Neuro
Overview
- Temp contract in Virginia
- 15 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Day shifts with rotation to nights
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Neuro ICU experience within the last year
- 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- OR - Operating Room experience
- Ortho Trauma experience
- RN scrubbing skill/experience
Schedule
- Weekday call: 2 eight-hour shifts per schedule
- Weekend call: 3 twelve-hour shifts per schedule
- 45-minute response time for call
- Holidays: 1 major and 1 minor, depending on contract timing; call shifts only
Work Setting
- Floating to other service lines in Tower OR as needed
- 28-room OR
- 75–90 cases per day
Additional Notes
- RN scrubbing skill/experience is ideal
