Required Qualifications

• Active RN role
• 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

Experience Preferences

• Prior neuro experience is preferred
• Alaris and EPIC experience is preferred

Clinical Setting

• Adult and geriatric patients in medical-surgical telemetry and related inpatient areas
• Float pool coverage across multiple units, including higher-acuity areas as assigned within skillset

Scheduling and Float Expectations

• Schedule is released 4–6 weeks in advance
• Travelers must be flexible to fill gaps in permanent scheduling
• May be assigned to a single facility for the week or receive a just-in-time assignment 1–2 hours before shift start
• Must float within Zone 4, covering a 60-mile radius from Garden City
• May be asked to float to other acuity levels, including ICU low-acuity holds and PCU/stepdown
• Weekend requirement: 6–9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Rare call or standby requirement for low census

Additional Notes

• Traveler must be in state for the week of orientation
• No home base facility
• Housing is the traveler’s responsibility to make the 60-mile floating requirement feasible
• Cannot miss more than 3 shifts in the 13-week contract
• A 2-week notice is required to avoid a back-out penalty fee
