Labor and Delivery RN Travel Position

Location: Cherokee, Iowa

Job Details

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery
• Shift: Night shifts, full-time (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
• Schedule: Every third weekend rotation
• Float: May float to MedSurg; potential cross-training to CCU and/or House Supervisor roles
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in Iowa
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (or ability to obtain)
• PALS Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Mandatory Reporter training (or ability to obtain)

Experience

• Experienced OB RN preferred, or RN with strong desire to work in OB
• Solid clinical skills and excellent customer service required
• No explicit prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Work environment is a friendly, team-oriented rural hospital setting
• Ability to float to MedSurg to guarantee hours
• 36 hours per week, primarily night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
