Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit (NT/SICU) – Night Shift

Location: Chico, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift (12-hour shift, 7:00 PM start)
Hours per Week: 36

Unit and Patient Population

• Level II trauma NT/SICU unit with 12 beds and a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Specializes in neuro/trauma patients
• Care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• May float to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Minimum 5 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

• Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency
• Flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed
