Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NBSTSA

Role Details

Assists during surgical procedures by maintaining the sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation to the surgical team
Functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse
Working knowledge of AORN standards
Working toward competency or competent with Tier 1 surgical cases
Assists with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation
Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization
Participates in Time Out Process, including Briefings and Debriefings
Must be able to work promptly and routinely at the start of the scheduled shift
This position provides patient care
